With the French Pocket trouser we have reinterpreted and refined a classic work wear trouser to make it fit the modern man, working equally well with casual attire as well as with a more formal get up.

This new trouser style from Rubato is the best of both worlds. Based of the tried, tested and appreciated Lot Nr. 1 Denim they draw inspiration from vintage trousers which we’ve re-interpreted and refined into a pair of sophisticated workwear trousers to fit modern life. They feature a high rise, straight leg, patch back pockets, French front pocket, vintage inspired resin buttons and a button fly.

Wear it with tailoring to emphasize the straight leg and subtle texture of the herringbone twill. When worn more casually with a Nonpareil T-Shirt, the interest switches and focus is drawn to the shape of the front pockets and the back patch pockets. The vintage inspired Resin buttons are present as well as reinforced tabs on all pockets and belt loops. The fabric on the Cream color is natural whereas the Navy colored ones has been yarn dyed with genuine indigo. Expertly made in Japan.
